No ads? Yes there were. I remember from 2013 the ads were all over YouTube. And they led to the songs huge debut, otherwise Rap God would've went just as high. At same time, this is something that Vevo always did (I'm pretty sure I've seem some videos ADS while watching others lke "NEW BRITNEY VIDEO" with a preview...)
