Ozzy8923 9
That's what everyone said with Femme Fatale lol. Unless she makes some big changes, I don't see her escaping this singles artist lane she's wandered into. LMAOOOO I honestly don't know. I'm happy to see that radio is definitely supporting her now more than ever and that she has regained a few casual fans like that but I would rather have good albums sales and floppy ass singles instead of the other way around (Like the Britney era back in 2001, had no HUGE single but the album sold a solid 4.5 million in the US and a good 10-12 million WW). I liked the Circus era because it was a balance of both. Circus had a triple platinum single (Womanizer) and a double platinum single (Circus) and a platinum single (If U Seek Amy) with Womanizer and Circus reaching #1 on the Pop Songs chart and If U Seek Amy reaching #8. And the album sold a good 1.7 million in the US and 4 million WW which is by no means bad. And the tour practically sold out completely and it grossed 130 million dollars WW. Good times. And she looked amazing, too.
Americano 31,061
US album sales: #145 @LadyGaga, Born This Way 2,989 (2,208,718) #46 @KatyPerry, Teenage Dream 8,826 (2,191,181) Well, Katy just had a re-release It'd be a little weird if she weren't ahead lol This Britney talk is nonsense. I'm a huge fan of her, and even during the FF era, she was hardly relevant as an artist. No one takes her seriously anymore, and her work has gotten incredibly generic and forgettable. She'll never be the huge star she once was, or the star she could've been

She'll never be the huge star she once was, or the star she could've been You're not wrong. Poor thing has lost all her credibility as an artist/musician in the drop of a pin. She had a lot of potential. In the Zone was the album where she co-wrote EVERY song, if she hadn't had her career interrupted by marriage and motherhood and if the label hadn't prohibited Original Doll from being released who knows that track her career could of taken. Original Doll was the album that I believe was set for release around late 2005 or 2006 and Britney had been making it behind her labels back and even played the lead single for a radio station without her labels consent. Rebellious Britney was awesome. Shows that she didn't always listen to label executives and be manufactured. Circus reached 4 million ww? thought it was 3,5 i'm not sure but around there.Worship it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kwa598DG2w&list=UUMJlhh5_Kn9cqGGgjInk4Vg&index=5&feature=plcp

And she looked amazing, too. Her career was built on her image, controversy, her personality, catchy pop tunes, and her talent as a performer. All of those things (with the exception of catchy songs) are now gone. Her team will have to take these things into consideration for her to change the direction, but it's clear that she doesn't want to. I would love to see things change for her. I practically worshipped her from 1998 to 2011 and I know for a fact that she's capable of accomplishing way more than she is now. As far as Circus goes, it had the kind of hype that money can't buy. Ever since the moment she stepped out of the psych ward, her team went into overdrive with guest appearances, magazine exclusives, the VMAs, her documentary throughout the entire year. It was a true comeback. They went for a quiet and safe approach with FF and it suffered.

Ozzy8923 9
Britney needs to make another song like Touch of my Hand and Breathe on Me. They remind me of Madonna's Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light because they have that mystical feel and that simple electronica production reminiscent of William Orbit's work on ROL.
