Music break those boundaries so if she comes with a great album everybody will follow whatever their orientation. I'm gay and I follow many artist that don't try or "accidently" appeal to the gays. She was mainly accused to "use the gays" when she realeased Born this way despite she made many LGBTs feel normal and perfectly right like they were with this track. Peoples doubt of her sincerity but if she had no supporting message to the gays those folks who dissed her would be like "She has so many gays supporting her but what do she does for the gays?
