I guess she just means that it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of her YET, because she's basically admitting she's mostly channeled and imitated other icons up until that point in her career. I did understand her and her changes. Like, we will never know the real Gaga until years down the line (maybe now for LG5?), because like she said, her early years were about imitating (I see it as an honage tho) the people she looked up to (lightning bolt = bowie, catchy, pop, influential songs = madonna), and we shouldnt blame her. Music wise, she was still a baby, learning right in front of us. Now it's time for her original Gaga iconic stuff to come out! Im so excited for this!
