Why Christina Grimmie was important for the Music Industry

When Christina Grimmie died today, many people where confused who she is. I, being someone who grew up with her music, thought to myself, why not show the importance of the extreme talented musician. Of course, I could say how she's a self taught pianist or how her Vocal Range is above 3 Octaves and all of the things that made her the big star that she was, but I thought, I would concentrate myself on why she was important in the music industry. She was basically the stepping stone that made some YouTubers that sing - famous. 

 

1. She was the first non winner from 'The Voice' to earn a record deal

2. She signed out of the Record Deal, after they wanted her to get half naked.

3. She had one of the first viral Covers on Youtube, at age 16.

4. She opened up for Selena Gomez, being one of the first YouTube Stars to open for a household name.

5. She wrote her first EP 'Find Me' at age 17, with the popular Single 'Liar Liar'.

Rest in peace my beautiful angel.

Another reason I'm glad Marina stopped doing meet and greets. The world is just a chaotic place and people have to fear for their safety nowadays. #RIPchristina

My sister had a major meltdown when I told her this. Poor thing. She grew up with her music.

But Christina had it worse. A lot of good stuff were prepared for her future and it ended just like that.

Other musicians should watch out these days.

So sad... I used to watch her all the time, she was really huge on yt. Probably one of the first big channels for covers along with that one girl from Holland(I can't remember her name?). She will be missed!

It doesn't matter if people knew who she was or not, it is still a tragedy no matter her accomplishments. I had no idea who she was before today, and yet I'm feeling completely shaken.

Things that happened are sad but I think people trying to make her bigger than she is. I mean lots of people saying, "I don't know her but this is sad" kind of statement everywhere now.
