I'm not a fan of her songs.. tbh I barely survive the first on minute.. no hate, just not my taste..

But I think that 5 years without her is bad.. she's bringing some kind of hype and excitement and it's nice to see all her achievements and to say wow she did it again and deserves it..

Anyway, family first I guess..

I wonder why she's so drastic about it. A world tour is gruelling but writing and recording albums or doing an occasional performance seems like combo with motherhood.

But she's the best judge of that I guess

I can understand this. One of the things my dad said he really missed was my early years. He was working all the time and rarely had a chance to spend time with me, so he missed virtually everything of my first six years. We will miss her music, for sure, but I'm sure she won't regret her hiatus one second (and her child will grow to really appreciate it).

Two years, three years, five years...it doesn't matter. She will have people waiting. 

I don't know how believable this story is, but if it is true, good for Adele! Whatever decision she makes for herself and for her family is the right one. It is her life and her career.

Good for her!  If anyone can afford to take as long of a hiatus as they please it's Adele.  She's a force to be reckoned with and will be just as successful when she decides to return to music.

25 worked because of the pop cultural weight of 21. Adele just delivered a subpar album that has yet to spawn more than one hit, the general public will probably only remember Hello by the time she comes back with 31.
