Raw, shocking, crazy, messy, and dark. She gave zero ****s and just wanted to scream at the top of her lungs. It was disgusting and beautiful. I agree it wouldn't have been a good idea in the middle of a grand era, but ARTPOP was not that so it was like a beacon of filthy goodness in the middle of a depressing ocean. JackTheTripper 866 Posted March 14, 2016 Share Posted March 14, 2016 i like it a lot actually, and this was during time when everyone was talking **** about her, and counting charts and being boring with statistics .... her screaming **** you pop music and doing this on a smaller stage and smaller audience during sxsw made it all more powerfull. Everything was going so wrong during ARTPOP era, she seemed lost not knowing what to do with singles or promotion or videos, different aesthetics and different concepts every single day. But that was THE day she wasnt lost to me, she had a purpose: raise the middle finger to everything and everyone and give us raw performance art. Dreadlocks, dirty, no costume changes, no sparkly stuff: just her I watched it on livestream and I was clapping in front of my computer lol And I looooved that everyone was pissed to the bottom of their hearts, whats the big deal? wasnt that the point?
