I haven't had a chance to, but I was planning on it tonight :) I heard Murder Song a while ago and just found out about her album this morning and I'm looking forward to it

I feel like she's an unholy mix of Florence, Sia, Lorde, Ellie, with a splash of Bjorkish FKA Twigs.  But in a good way.

Get ready! It's a moody surprising adventure. Some of the songs were exactly what I was expecting, but some (like Under The Water) were NOT what I was expecting but they're so, so good.

YES! I feel like this is a pretty good description lol

Did you give any of the songs a listen? I'm interested to hear what people who haven't listened to a lot of her music before have to say about her debut :)

I've listened to "Runaway", "Running With the Wolves", "Conqueror", and "Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1)" so far.  I am partial to some of that euro- icy synth sound anyway so I'm not surprised that I like it.  I like that in just those four songs there is a recognizable style/sound, but also a nice range of moods.  So it's cohesive but not repetitive.  If she has a strong live voice and has presence I would definitely be interested in seeing her on tour.  Hopefully she tours SoCal at some point.

Here's a playlist of the regular edition of the album (but a lot of the videos are live and aren't the best quality so you're gonna miss out on the really great instrumentals )

You've still got some great songs to discover. My favorite from the album is probably Under The Water. I Went Too Far is a close second tho tbh.

I just listened to her album and she reminds me a LOT of Lana...

Really? :duck: Definitely not the first connection I'd make, why does she remind you of Lana?

Her songs have that sort of slow vibe that Lana songs do....

I don't see it.. She is more like Sia's little sister

This was my first impression tbh I think AURORA's vocals are much more comparable to Sia's than Lana's.
