MelbHawker 6,583
In addition to having a seat at the Oscars, Fey also attended the famed Vanity Fair Oscars party. “I’m such small potatoes at that thing,” she said, while also explaining how the event’s photo booth worked. “You go in a room and I think it was, like, [photographer] Mark Seliger takes your picture. And there was a gorgeous picture online the next day of Lady Gaga in the photo booth, and she’s like swirling her pants-cape or whatever it was. And the quote was like, ‘I just felt after my performance at the Oscars, I felt like a weight had been lifted, I felt like I could stop hiding.’ And I wanted to be like, ‘Ooh girl, have you been hiding? Because you’ve been doing a terrible job hiding. Because I’ve been seeing you everywhere. You’ve been hiding? Okay.’”http://www.ew.com/article/2016/03/02/tina-fey-oscars-howard-stern I'm here to call a spade a spade. This funny b*tch thinks because she's funny she can make fun of someone's statement re: their sexual assault trauma purely because that person is a celebrity and she's a comedian. I'm sorry but can Gaga call her out on this absolute dumb bullish*t? I'd be here for a public take-down. What are your thoughts on this stans? Is it comedy? Or did her rant go a little too far? Have it out girls.
Phoenix 17,395
maybe she's just dumb to get it, or has a really bad sense for humor :\ 💎
Evan Peters 10,749
She was commenting on the aspect that gaga in terms of the public eye hasn't been 'hiding' because everywhere you go, she's there. So, while I don't think Tina meant any harm by her comment, it wasn't really an appropriate response since gaga was referring to her rape being hidden away from everyone. emma roberts is an abuser

I don't think it was intended as an insult on Gaga or the sexual assault stuff in any way. I think it was clearly a reference to the SB/Grammy/Oscar performances and the resulting attention from each. Considering the context of the post it was kind of an awkward joke to make, but she was obviously just spinning the caption of the photo to suit the punchline. Tina seems like a good person so I highly doubt she'd intentionally make fun of sexual assault victims.

retroglamx 5,177
Let's get one thing straight, Tina is a comedian and as such, she might say things that sound harsh but that's how comedians are. Second, I think Tina's comment was more about Gaga being Lady Gaga the extravagant chanteuse instead of the actual context of Gaga's caption, which was about sexual abuse. Besides, Tina is one of my favorites, don't try and come for her. Pink flamingos always fascinated me.
Neight Shayde 7,925
she didn't know the context of her statement so she just blindly called her out.
Iwontell 7,312
Nah...it sounds much worse written, but I heard the whole interview and her tone was humorous...just calm down... ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
PaperIz 7,346
I don't think you get the joke. I think it probably sounds worse than it is. I understand what she was trying to put across, it's not like she was trying to disrespect what Gaga is doing, just commenting on her in general as a performer Human generated art
retroglamx 5,177
And anybody who knows Tina knows how much of a feminist she is, so I personally don't think she would make fun of such a delicate subject. Pink flamingos always fascinated me.
