You have a point when it comes to her vocal stylings. her voice doesn't change much over the albums. But all of her albums are different when comes to instrumentals. Ultraviolence being incredibly different from BTD and Paradise. Like Ultraviolence sounded more like lana's vocals placed over classic rock instrumentals. And honeymoon sounds rather different when compared to any of previous albums.

Though you have points one certain songs. Swan Song reminds me of Old Money, and 24 reminds me of Million Dollar Man. But, instrumentally, at least Ultraviolence sounds rather different when compared to BTD and Paradise.

the only difference is Lana writes her stuff 99.5% of the time!

I love the dreamy stuff, but I hope for some more trap influenced songs like, High By The Beach, Freak, and Art Deco.:applause:

I love how she keeps working. In reality, you only really have to take a little longer than a year for a new album from her. Others, should take notes. :sara:

I want to thank you for having an intelligent response and I respect and can agree with you. I have all of Lana's albums other than Honeymoon because, after listening to it for a few times, it just seemed too similar to me and I couldn't get into it. I expect her hardcore fans to notice the changes to her sound more than a casual fan or anyone else.

Well, I just think it all depends, really. The I'm with Lana is how I am with Gaga, and I enjoy all her albums and think they're all good. But I can understand why someone wouldn't like Honeymoon. And Lana is a lot like Gaga, she probably will never get over what fans consider her magnum opus, which will be BTD/PD, though she probably has, in all actuality.

But, yes, I'll admit Honeymoon is very similar, though I think it's still a little different. And for some reason, I like to think of Art Deco as a continuation of Carmen. It seems like she's talking about a similar person.
