I feel like they just threw some (pretty amazing) songs together and called it an album (which is probably what happend). It is not cohesive at all and I think that this may be mistaken for a lack of personal touch, which you're talking about. But it IS acting after all and I view it like one - every piece of music and every song is her new act and her new mask she puts on. And I'm loving it! Sia really is a brilliant songwriter.
