ShockPop 7,747
Wasn't "more than a woman" the lead single before "rock the boat"? I mean, she died travelling from the video for RTB so it makes sense... Also, she died and I remember on tv they were showing the video of more than a woman at the time. More than a woman was originally planned as the second single, but when Aaliyah died, they changed it to "Rock the Boat", because they were saving "Rock the Boat" for the summer, but because the label wanted more record sales when Aaliyah died, they went with a song that they felt would perform better. So "more than a Woman" didn't have time to chart until it was released after "Rock the Boat" in February of 2002.
