Why y'all saying it is fresh, it is a disco song and it samples a 30-year-old song, this song was born old :awkney:

I'm sorry but this song is everything but fresh.

It's got a timeless sound to it. Fresh may be the wrong word, but it certainly has aged incredibly well. I mean it wouldn't sound out of place being played now, in fact it would be a huge improvement to what is played now.

I feel like Confessions changed pop music forever. It introduced dance songs like Hung Up or Get Together in the mainstream. You can still play the full non-stop album and it sounds like something released last year.

¿Qué currículum tiene ésta tarántula?

One of the best dance songs ever. Definitely her best lead single of the 00's

Everything about the Confessions era seems magical. I would have loved to witness it as it was happening.

super ultra

I listened to this today :udidnt: I was obsessed with this song... and with the whole album too. I'm getting old :pumpga:

I love the Gimme Gimme Gimme sampling :nick:

Most clever use of a sample imo:nick:

That sample is literally the ONLY thing I like about this song. It was used very well in the production of the instrumental. I'm a sucker for anything ABBA. [Except for the musical Mamma Mia!]

I tend to hate songs that sample other songs, but this has always been an exception. It was so beautifully done and such a bop :rockstar:

I refuse to believe it has been 10 years :ghost:

Madonna MURDERED the world with this song/era. She was EVERYWHERE and proved at 47 she was still the #1 female in the bizz. Bitch opened the MTV Awards while popping out of a disco ball! Like, she did that! The SLAYAGE. Followed by an insane promo tour around the world and in my opinion the best tour ever by any artist, ever.

My favourite era of all time by any artist ever. Pure slayage.

Mister Gaga

10 years omfg

I rememeber being in front of the TV watching the video, hearing it at the radio all the time. I was 8 years old, ****.

She dropped her best album ever with COADF imo. Such a classic, she peaked there.

Her best album and in my top 3 favorite albums of all time  The flow of the album is absolute perfection and there is not one bad track.

I am very sorry, but you seem to have no clue what you are talking about.

Both Hung Up by Madonna as Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) by ABBA are CLASSICS!

Hung Up was a global MOSTER HIT - and rightly so.

It wouldn't get played today so much on German radio or used in shows and clips on German TV, if it wouldn't sound "fresh" anymore.
