If she just addressed it and said she was inspired, she'd no longer be asked about it. But her constant bitterness and trying to act like she's superior because it'll only make her get asked about it more as people like to see that reaction and making celebrities tick can be funny. There is no denying it - she looked like a traditional hip hop female back in the days before she was famous (and even on some early Young Money features) and before Gaga came on the scene, then she debuted with her solo work and suddenly, she changed. Crazy outfits (especially that bonkers one at the MTV awards where she had a candy Medusa style hairdo, a foil mask over her mouth and a tail made out of plush toys), platinum blonde wigs, blue contact lenses and a heavy attempt to do dance pop. You can't cover up inspiration like that. You may as well own it. But at least Gaga never brought her down for her inspiration unlike SOME of her idols that I could name...

It's nothing to do with race. This is a reaction we're told to go to when we see a white getting praised and a black getting criticised for the same thing. But when you look at it indepth, you see where the difference is. As I explained above, Nicki's complete 180 only after Gaga came on the scene made her look fake and like she was trying to fit in with what was popular whereas Gaga had her own look from the beginning and was brave enough to do something different. Gaga's outfits most of the time have a method behind the madness too. You can see there was talent and vision going into it and it looks expensive too. Nicki's outfits have been inexplicably mad and have no rhyme or reason (the MTV one I explained above being the perfect example). It was like she was always all: "What's weird? Let's put it all in one outfit!" So many of her looks came across like cheap knock-off versions of Gaga's outfits too. That's all it comes down to. I'd say this no matter what way round the race was.
