TIHTY, though, I feel like it'll be well received and potentially it's Oscar worthy, but to call anything a "classic" is to put it on the level of the greatest songs ever written. That's saying a lot and I don't know if it lives up to the title of "classic"

While it's not a flop in my opinion, it's not up there with some of the best songs written by Diane. 

Though if they collaborate again for the actual album I feel they can create something even more powerful. TIHTY is a great song nonetheless.

I voted no cuz it won't be. I didn't say it was a flop, it was prefigured in the pole? Lol and it's moving to some.. just like btw.. just like bad Romance.. just like any other gaga song or song you attach meaning to.

It has the potential to be a classic because of its meaning.  I love the song so much but I don't think its on the same level of greatness of "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing". 

The meaning of TIHTY, however, is extremely powerful and that my help propel it to the very top.  Only time will tell.

I agree with you but then again gaga fans also say you and i and judas are classics so I'm not surprised with the misusage of the word. Classics are songs that will be remembered 20 years from now and even more. Songs that are huge, and relatable to all people like the songs you've mentioned. TIHTY is more of a charity song but it will never be a true classic.

some songs might be considered classics within this fandom, but on a much larger scale of the world and time, our grandkids won't know til it happens to you, but trust bad Romance will be playing at a few of their middle school dances..

I absolutely love TIHTY but a classic is something like I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing, now that song is one of great power. Tbh I was expecting something like that, sad yet triumphant.
