If this is serious, Which I'm not sure at this time, I'm on the fence. I think it's great LGBT are getting positivity, they definitely deserve it after all of the sufferage and isolation.

However,  I feel as though the LGBT community should be treated as just a normal part of society. Not a big spectacle. I mean being gay, lesbian, bis-xual, or transgender should be as considered normal as being heteros-xual or religious or a different. A true embodiment of equal rights. 

Shouldnt people let the community blend in harmony rather than STILL be pointed out, even if it's positive? 

I hope no one takes it the wrong way. Also, I'm not saying that the LGBT is responsible for all of the promotion or press, not at all.

lgbtq+ could handle people's straightness shoved down their throats for many years, and it's an ongoing process, so whoever can't handle the gayness can gtfo. we can't just "blend in harmony" when there's no equality to begin with

Thats totally understandable. I just would love to see us all live as a unit without anyone (Heteros-xual, Relgious, LGBT, Races)  shoving anything down people's throats. :) I can only dream.

Sure, that's absolutely the right thing to hope for, but like you said, we can only dream. In reality it's extremely unlikely that full equality will ever be attained. Instead of seeing it as the gayness being shoved down people's throats try looking at it this way: Straightness has always been inflicted on people, but now LGBTQ+ people are finally gaining visibility, which means we're closer to being equal to straight people in terms of visibility. It's not about shock value or wanting to shove it in people's faces whatsoever, it's about trying to attain the same visibility straight people have always had. Or die trying.

Instead of seeing it as the gayness being shoved down people's throats try looking at it this way: Straightness has always been inflicted on people, but now LGBTQ+ people are finally gaining visibility, which means we're closer to being equal to straight people in terms of visibility. It's not about shock value or wanting to shove it in people's faces whatsoever, it's about trying to attain the same visibility straight people have always had. Or die trying.

Definitely! But I also feel like more people are kind of being fake about it. Not the LGBT community, but the people outside of it. Treating it like a trend or something without actually supporting it or understanding it. Like we're all human beings here. I've seen this a lot lately and it's a bit unnerving.

I do agree with you. But I think it is a transition. We were (or we still are) in a world where being LGBT+ was something to hide and be ashamed of cause it wasn't normal. Now we are "getting out of the dark" being proud of who we are and showing other people that we are normal and not ashamed of who we are, so they can see there is nothing wrong with being LGBT+. In the ideal future, there will be no more """gay propaganda""" as the homophobes say and we will be all equal.
