My fav award show, my second fav singer, and one of my all time fav songs put into one ****ing amazing masterpiece!!! Madonna really knew how to close the show that year!! I could definitely see gaga doing something like this (not in a way that's "reductive"). She could put her own little spin on something so amzing. Same high fashion from the baroque era (correct me if im wrong), amazing choreography, great stage setting, great song, good s-x appeal, all things gaga could do on stage easily, thus making it possible that she could do even better than Madonna, plus she would actually sing!! It's like a video - at the video music awards - Everything is timed to perfection.Ā This performance, imo, really draws upon Madonna's strengths.Ā I don't think Gaga could really pull off a performance like this, in the same way I don't think Madonna could pull off a performance like Paparazzi - VMAs.
