"Why not venture to the glittery 80’s pop realm with the Haim sisters or Tegan & Sara? Maybe Charli XCX or Jessie Ware will help Gaga find her next brat-pop anthem or torch song. Imagine what someone like Greg Kurstin could whip up with Gaga, or the explosiveness Grimes could concoct in the studio. The possibilities truly are endless."

F#ck that :fthis: :excuseu: I agree with the rest but I would unstan is if she worked with Charli XCX tbh. Gaga doesn't her her basicness.

Every single point is 100% spot-on except the one about working with co-writers. The only other people who should be writing with her are her producers.

Yeah, that's point I took issue with. They mention all these trendy of-the-moment artists that everyone else in the current pop sphere is working with....but then go on to say she shouldn't follow current pop trends, lol.

:gayhat:Okay but low key some of this was good advice but others just seem unnecessary and slightly stand-offish. But what a queen to already have an article about her album and it hasn't even come out yet

I'm a free bitch baby

They make some good points to be honest, but why pressure her? Why should an ARTIST like Gaga listen to some commercialised crap like Billboard?

Just let her do what she wants.

Oh, and YAAAAAS at praising The Fame Monster to the heights :queenga:

In my messy era.

Kermit the frog

This is written by either a fan or someone from atrl. Very interesting points made.

Come Queen and destroy

Born To Slay

Unlikely - lets not go down the Xtina track. Gaga works best in shorter more cohesive work where she is more focused and the Theme makes sense and is easy to follow by all people.. I think a 12-13 track album is fine and a 10-11 is perfect for her. 8 songs on TFM still stand as her best work production wise and there is no real argument to that - everything was clean- the vocals were edited for the gods, her image and look was fabulous. The Videos were spectacular as well and made you think multiple times.

20 Masterpieces can wait for her Single Collection/ Greatest Hits.

The thing is, I don't like going in with a certain amount tracks needing to be completed. If Gaga feels it's best with 12, then fine but with all the flawless in released songs Gaga has, it's unlikely that she'll have a shortage of great songs to use for next album, so I don't see why we should cut it short. Rebel Heart was 19 tracks long and that album was great, Gaga could easily pull that off.

Actually their point about chart performance is the only one I agree with... They did not mean that she should not promote her singles, album etc.. What they said is that she shouldn't comment and give attention to these things.. If Rihanna posts now on twitter that she doesn't care about her new singles flopping etc...That would be A LOT of attention to that and people would talk about her poor performance instead of her music

I agree with this. She can mix quality to commercial again... She already did it. Both are not incompatible..
