Salty as hell. And yes, Ed she is more successful than you. Ed: 0 Grammies, Gaga: 6 Grammies.

Bull ****ing ****. Ed is played on every single radio station in the UK and Gaga is snubbed to hell.

In my messy era.

Why do I have a feeling it was Jimmy Fallon? The ARTPOP performance was so random.

And this does suck for him. He's actually selling out stadiums (something our girl struggles to do these days). So he does have a point.

Is this why he was looking so annoyed at Gaga's Stevie Wonder tribute performance? I'm sure Gaga wasn't thinking about kicking Ed off, just that she wanted to perform.

Ed, don't flatter yourself. You're successful but nowhere near Gaga's level of stardom. He can take a seat with "or even more so." Just no. Not even close.

Yes I had the exact same hunch! But then apparently she had an interview as well, which she didn't have on Jimmy's show. The last one I remember with both performance + interview by herself was Alan Carr (correct me if I'm wrong). Unless he is referring to Tony + Gaga.

You're actually probably right. I couldn't remember if she had an interview on Fallon. If not, that makes the ARTPOP performance even more random. Was Alan Carr when she did DWUW on the piano?

Yeah it really was a random performance. Everyone thought she would be performing and promoting G.U.Y because that was around the time of the video filming. A good random one though, it's one of my favourite performances of hers haha.

Yeah Alan Carr was the Dope and DWUW piano performances.

She's still more successful than him.

Ed didn't even have x out at the time, so he wasn't having more success at that time. Since he released x last June, I'm trying to figure out when Gaga had an interview and performance around that time or after that.

One stadium in the U.S. and that's coming up. Back when Gaga was promoting ARTPOP, he hadn't even started his solo tour in the U.S. His first U.S. leg had him playing to 5,000 to 11,000 a night and grossing somewhere between 200,000 to 600,000. That's hardly competition for Gaga.

I love Ed's music and have for a few years now, but he's not at the point to be comparing himself to Gaga...especially outside of his home country. He doesn't have a point, unless this happened in the last six months or so, and in the UK. Do you know of any interview/performances Gaga had that fit this criteria?

I like how he portrays Lady Gaga as a mega star, which she is.

I love Ed though. NOW COLLAB!

Lady Gaga is a household name and pure pop spectacle, of course producers are going to be more interested in squeezing a live performance from her into a show rather than Ed, who on the other hand is pure white guy with a guitar. It's not right per se, but it makes sense. That's the entertainment business for you.

Anyway, I know he was trying to make a point, but he's coming off like he thinks he's superior with that "or even more so" added in. He just strikes me as guy who likes to complain a lot, it reminds me of how pissed he got at "that Lady Gaga thinks I'm a waiter" story, I remember thinking if he got so mad at that silly story I couldn't imagine how he'd deal with an Angie Cheng situation, or of the lashings a typical female celeb gets from the media in general.
