You HAVE to admit these are underwhelming first week sales given expectations. Maybe TO YOU it is, but it isn't. Why would it be? I mean Katy has never been an album artist, we've known that since 2008. Neither her record label or Katy did expect anything more than that, but apparently people here are. Well considering the ridiculously massive promo schedule she had, AND the fact that Roar was one of radio's biggest hits EVER, you'd think she'd have higher sales. Even I am shocked by this. Katy doing all of that promo you expect a pretty big album sale. They wanted her to have big sales for albums this time, but it obviously didn't work. She has the Walmart commercial Has had plenty of Roar commercials Roar is one of the biggest songs of the year This album has been heavily promoted, and these sales are kinda weak from this much promo.
