Gaga hasn't been vocal about anything in a year and a half. That b---h, I can't stand her releasing before Gaga in everything she does. Hope her songs finally flop again, though I'm scared it's catchy as fuq and I'll probably still listen to it.. Gaga's releasing within the last two months of the year. She should have gotten that "fresh 2013 sound" out there earlier if she didn't want people releasing before her. She sings other people's songs. And rather poorly, if I may add. I know she's trying to change her image but it just seems like for whatever reason she's trying to be serious now, after two eras of dance pop songs? ? ? No hate to her tho. Don't try and get smart with me, son. You don't need a degree to tell that with what Katy has out right now, she'd never be considered an icon and the only thing she'd be remembered for would be her 5 #1's from Teenage Dream which equals to that of Michael Jackson's Bad. However as we all know, she got that by releasing generic sh-t that the radio would so play over something Gaga released from Born This Way. Which brings me to my next point, you're right when you say that the dark theme is not owned by Gaga. Except that what I meant was Gaga's transition from TF/M to BTW and not being dark in general. And I still don't consider what Gaga does 'dark', it's art and people know it. This new stuff Katy's trying to pull off is not working for her, which is why it looks so forced because it doesn't even look dark at all.
