This may not be about homophobia or equality, but I consider this one of her best:

I can't pick a favorite because they, and she herself for that matter, are incredibly inspiring. She is a true blessing to this world and I am glad that she can use her popularity to raise awareness. You go, girl!

Some very powerful quotes there. I've book-marked them so I can revisit them. Thanks for sharing!

I just look at the people around me that are gay (and people here that I've talked with) who seem like the kindest, most giving, most loving human beings and I can't imagine why some wouldn't want them to be a part of our society, or why they would try to deny them happiness. It's just ridiculous to me. It makes me so sad and angry sometimes, because the haters/bigots/homophobes/ignorants are taking something that is part of someone beautiful, twisting it into something wicked, while wiping away all other traces of humanity and goodness from them. It's not right, no matter how I look at it, I just can't understand it.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

3. If we don't stand up for what we believe in, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our bones.

My favorite one.

I can't believe I never heard of #2 - They say this country is equal, but it's not equal if it's sometimes.  That is so powerful.  If you commit to something important and meaningful, it has to be 100% all the time, no faltering; no hesitations.

Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates
