Eddie Redmayne the Frontrunner to Star in ‘Harry Potter’ Spinoff

Some websites are reporting this as a rumor, so we'll see. I personally had a different idea in mind, but hey, Eddie is extremely talented, so it might me interesting.

I'm really curious as to what the tone of this movie will be. For the original films, it made sense that, as the audience grew older and the story became darker, the tone of the films grew more mature and serious. But for these spinoffs it's more of a stab in the dark as to what the audience will be + what kind type of film it will be.

I'm almost imagining it being something like The Hobbit trilogy, but I'm hoping for it to be a bit more intimate that those movies. One of the things that made the original HP series so special was the fact that you grew so close with the characters, so I hope they can recapture that "magic" () in the spinoff as well.
