They are making a trilogy based on Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them. It will be the story of how Newt Scamander found the beasts. It will take place in New York. First movie in 2016, then the others in the following years, directed by David Yates and screenplay by J.K. herself. If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
