Lady Gaga Tickets In Europe Listed Up To 90% Below Face Value On Secondary Market

On November 8th, Lady Gaga will land in Barcelona, seeking to take back her crown as “Queen of Pop,†a title given to her by Rolling Stone in 2011. However, her most recent solo album, ARTPOP, has not had the most outstanding reception when compared to her prior work. It seems as though her little monsters are hoping for something more to convince them before investing time and money to see her live.

So much so that, according to Ticketbis, some users across Europe are selling their tickets to upcoming Lady Gaga concerts at way below the face price. The average price of a ticket, according to web sales figures, suffered a 32% drop from the artist’s last concert in Barcelona.

The competition for selling distressed tickets is so fierce that Gaga fans don’t seem to care enough about losing out on their investment, with tickets selling at a 50% to 90% discount throughout different seating categories. That means fans can pay as low as $4.70 to see the famous “Pop Queen†in action on November 8th at Palau Sant Jordi (St. Georges Palace) in Barcelona. Essentially, for the price of your morning newspaper and a coffee you can see a multi-platinum artist live in one of the most charming cosmopolitan cities the world has to offer.

As cheap as Lady Gaga tickets are being sold in Europe, the same can’t be said for her shows in America. Her recently announced tour with Tony Bennett has forced more dates to be added due to a high demand for tickets.

Across Gaga’s ArtRave Ball Tour this past summer, the secondary market average was $168.79. While the get-in price went as low as $25 for some dates, the typical range was from $45-$65.

Fellow pop star Kylie Minogue went through a similar experience in Europe during the weeks prior to her show at Palacio de los Deportes in Madrid, Spain. Only 6,000 people attended the event, which is a surprise considering the venue holds 14,000.

Well, she didn't promote ARTPOP in EU, expect UK, so its no wonder.

It was the same for the UK, I tried to sell my tickets to Manchester and literally no one would take them, not even when they were virtually free :dead:

Oh, I just did some further research. I went to the site they linked and found something rather interesting.

For Barcelona, there are less than 100 tickets being sold at below face value: http://www.ticketbis.com/en-us/lady-...ickets/ev48268

For Birmingham, all tickets are being sold at above face value: http://www.ticketbis.com/en-us/lady-...ickets/ev59289

For Glasgow, no tickets are being sold: http://www.ticketbis.com/en-us/lady-...ickets/ev59290

For Paris, all tickets are being sold at face value: http://www.ticketbis.com/en-us/lady-...ickets/ev52518

For Zurich, no tickets are being sold: http://www.ticketbis.com/en-us/lady-...ickets/ev48843

For Newcastle, all tickets are being sold at and above face value: http://www.ticketbis.com/en-us/lady-...ickets/ev59292

For Lisbon, all tickets are being sold at face value: http://www.ticketbis.com/en-us/lady-...ickets/ev48747

For Sheffield, no tickets are being sold: http://www.ticketbis.com/en-us/lady-...ickets/ev59291

So poor Gaga, less than 100 tickets are being sold at a discounted price.

Hopefully the OP and others actually click the links in an article before embarrassing themselves next time.
