Android Wear is the perfect match for Moto 360. I'm not sure what you have against Android Wear but it is an exceptionally intuitive SmartWatch OS.

 

And let's be honest, you honestly want Motorola build its own software after all that MotoBlur mess? LOL

I just think it's too limited at this stage. I'm sure it's gonna get good updates in the future though.

To be fair Android Wear being a notification hub was intentional. (Even though it is actually possible to run 3rd party launchers and actual apps.) You only need so much functionality (aka quick glance of info) on your watch when chances are that you have your phone in your pocket. In that aspect Google does it better than Apple. Plus, Moto 360 has a much better design than the Apple Watch.

i cannot believe apple went for this design. it looks a bit like the original iphone, very thick and kinda tacky. wish they went for a more old ipod nano - iphone 4 design rather than this.
