I figured the Hilltop didn't have many people that are able to fight. It'll be interesting to see how they convince the women colony to join in.

The Hilltop's biggest problem is that they don't have ammunition. They have SOME guns, but due to not having any ammo they mostly rely on makeshift weapons like spears, and use them only for zombies. They have some capable people that they could contribute though.

I think Oceanside (the female colony) won't have much of a choice. Tara will probably end up breaking her promise to that girl and telling Rick about their location, because she knows they have weapons. Once Rick or the Saviors know they're out there, no matter which side they take, they're going to need to be part of the fight.

Omg loved the mid-season premiere. Thought it was perfect. The humor, the action (they highway scene was EVERYTHING), the acting/monologues, and the cliffhanger ending with Rick's smile slayed.

The highway scene was awesome

and Rick's smile probably because he find a group of people (with weapons) that most likely to join them in fighting Negan.

I was wondering why Rick smiled....I don't think I've ever seen him smile that big.  He's probably happy the Gabriel's clue paid off and like someone just said, he probably found a group of people that will help them fight.

I love the way they took out so many walkers on the highway.  The walkers as a whole are so old hat now that they need to come up with creative ways to get rid of them.  I'm ready to see a drama about the people who are left; not the walkers anymore.  They are no longer helping to tell the story.

I thought they used humor well also and really enjoyed this episode.  Hope the rest of the second part of the season continues to intrigue.

Hey guys, when is the show gonna get rid of Negan? Is he already gone? (I'm guessing not because they like to milk their villains lol.)

I stopped watching when they killed Abs & Glenn, will come back when Negan is punished so I can binge-watch to get my revenge. c:

Kind of a slow episode today but it was good. They obviously have to get the guns from Oceanside but how? They kill everyone on sight.

Rick remembering that Michonne likes cat statues.

He's still alive and kicking (or should I say alive and swinging), so don't come back just yet.  :giggle:

I didn't especially enjoy last night's episode.  I thought it very unrealistic that Rick would risk his groups' lives to get a bunch of guns for people they don't know.  I mean, I remember what happened to poor Aaron when he first came across them and the treatment he got.  It doesn't make any sense to me.  Seems out of character.  I know he's desperate to get rid of Negan and his band of merry thugs, but they have given Rick no reason to trust them either.  They could have been just as bad and now he's arming them.

Also, and this just me, but the leader of "The Scavengers" reminds me of Ensign Roe from Star Trek:  TNG.  Even their personalities are similar.

So now I feel it's TWD meets SciFi.  For some reason, I just find the show weird now.

But I'll keep watching for Jesus and Ezekiel.  :sara:

I hate the fact they dragging Carol's "I don't want to kill anymore" story out

They have the opportunity to turn her character back and they didn't do it

I got so emotional with Carol asking "is everybody's back home alright?"

and then Daryl's answer got me so mad, I was ready to flip the table :fthis:

If she learn the truth, she might be the one who can persuade Ezekiel to help Rick, because Ezekiel got soft spot for her

But they love to drag this thing out, and I don't really care for next week episode

I had enough of Dwight

It has been a fun show, but so unrealistic. I love Daryl's passion and unconditional love for Carol and I love my favorites, Richonne.

And I still think that we will see Heath soon..... :giggle:

I look forward to seeing The Saviors again next week though.

Another great episode.

Loved the junkyard zombie scene. Though it was obvious Jadis was going to push Rick.

I can't believe Richard wants Carol killed.

I liked last night's episode. It was interesting seeing a different side of Dwight and Eugene. I was really nervous that either of them would be killed.

I'm hoping uses his knowledge of the compound to somehow help the Alexandrians

Last night was an awesome episode. I really like how this story is filling out. I don't like Sherry, so I hope that she is gone for good, but the letter did a lot to flesh out Dwight's character and more questions have been answered and that always makes for a great episode when we get a better understanding of characters. Eugene stepped it up and rocked it. :giggle:

Sad!! Is it true in the comics he's still alive, too? I really don't like that. Why set up such a massive revenge story only to let it fade out with time..?
