I thought the mid-season premiere was brutal and intense!  I agree that it was probably one the of best shows of the entire series.  I wish they all could be so daring, but we probably won't see action like that again until the season finale.

I suppose Negan's thugs are going to leave no rock un-turned to find them once they see their people blown to smithereens on the road.  How many times has Daryl saved the day?

Happy Belated Valentine's Day to my TV lover.  :toofunny:

There are a lot of dead walkers filling the streets. It's a good time to bring in some help.....maybe Negan is not doing anything. :)

This was good start for the 2nd half of the season. Glenn has dodged death ......so many close calls. I hope he doesn't slip on a banana peel and die.

I'm waiting patiently for Negan to see what he brings.

I think Glenn has used up 7 of his 9 lives.  :)

I'm glad I ignore any and all hype - TV, music, and otherwise.  Makes life much more enjoyable to just be surprised and bemused.

This was a disappointing episode and a let down following last week's action packed episode. How quickly can someone untie themselves and get on the roof of a moving vehicle? The sequences with Paul were unbelievable in my mind. Bring on Negan so they weed out more of the regular characters......

Well, hey, at least they finally found Jesus.

Is there any news on when Negan's actually appearing? I hope they don't leave it until the season finale.

Well... I wouldn't say these are huge spoilers, but I'll tag just in case. Just the storyline from the comics leading up to Negan, no deaths or anything like that. Only plot spoilers.

Spoiler

Yes, Negan's first appearance will most likely be in the season 6 finale. Since Jesus was introduced this week, we'll soon see the introduction of a new community, which Negan has been intimidating.

So basically, we'll hear and see plenty of Negan's handiwork, but the character himself doesn't appear just yet.

I think he's the most interesting character I've seen in a long time.  I like him!

What I wonder is... is he part of Negan's posse or is he running from Negan's posse!?

Either or, a new character is bound to create more story lines and new situations.

However, I like things the way they are now... things seem pleasant but that's usually foreshadowing.  :(  I sense a black curtain of doom approaching.

You are right....Paul (Jesus) is an interesting character and he will open new roads in the story line. He's a rascal :yay:

Since we are preoccupied by the entrance of Negan,  we are anticipating all roads lead to him.

Rick seems to be in a mellow state of mind but that's when he usually lifts his defenses and becomes vulnerable to the outside world. He and Michonne as a couple doesn't seem like a good or long lasting relationship to me based on their individual personalities in the past.

And....... he's good looking.  Another cute guy to admire on TV.  I have no problems with this.

I was literally getting anxious while Maggie was negotiating with Gregory, they really don't know what they're letting themselves in for. I'm terrified of that upcoming Negan scene.

I feel like they are knocking on Death's door, saying let us in, let us in.

They are making such a statement about Maggie and Glenn's baby and they all seem to have a positive outlook about the new world they are creating and so I know things are going to get bad.

I'm afraid we'll lose some main characters before it's all over.

How ironic is it that the new character is Jesus and Negan's group are called the Saviors? I thought Jesus was the savior.....:yay:. As good as Rick and company have been about fighting others they are quite confident about beating somebody they know nothing about. Nobody wants their meal ticket taken away from them. I can't wait for the carnage.......:omg:
