gagaforgaga2010 117
Did anyone else feel a little left out when it came to the fan base at the artRAVE shows. I've been a fan since '08, but at this show I felt like it was all about who had the best body to show off. I have never felt out of place at a GaGa show until this one. I had an amazing costume and an amazing time, but I just didn't feel the acceptance I have felt at the other shows. As someone who isn't the prototype of a Grindr model, I felt very...excluded and out of place among the six packs and peck that were being flaunted, not to mention the looks and extreme rudeness of some of the fans. Just wondering if I'm alone

MANiDONTCURE 30
Not really, at the LA artraves everyone was kind, and we were all chatting.
artRaver 3,188
To be honest.. I feel like that at every Gaga concert, oops. ✿ cherry blossom girl ✿
SEVDALIZA 1,274
Can't say much since I haven't been to a concert yet, but most portuguese people tend to be b---hy, arrogant and ignorant, so I already know what to expect if I do go to the artRAVE operating from another world
Princess Die 1,864
Let me ask: Why does it matter what you look like? Didn't Gaga spend three years preaching about self-acceptance? Nod if you wanna make love with the enemy. ❤
Logan 20,640
There was a lot of guys in just underwear and speedos at my show and it did make me a little jealous but then I realized it was just my insecurities blinding me. It didn't make me felt left out at all, I made a ton of friends.
Batwings 12,847
I'm pretty far from having the kind of body that one flaunts like that. Personally, I think it's more than a bit silly to attend a show half-naked, but I don't really let it bother me. My own comfort and enjoyment is what is important to me, so I tend to focus on enjoying the show itself.
Haroon 49,685
I think the general looks for this era have been pretty skin-bearing, so I'd say the reason why loads of fans were and are going to be showing more skin is because Gaga's been showing a lot of skin throughout this era Plus it's summer for all of the locations she's played at so far so I guess there's more reason to not be wearing as much I doubt there'd be as many people as unclothed at shows in winter
Kayla 7,595
Not at all. I actually wished I would have worn MORE clothes because I felt out of place with just my little feathery bikini top. I actually preferred some of the more elaborate, more clothed, outfits! So I personally don't think it's about who has the best body or who looks most like a model. It's about just being comfortable with yourself and having fun.

And I did have loads of fun once inside the arena and I met some great people. There was a lot of drama at the Chicago show which is kind of what sparked this feeling a little. Just people dragging people right and left over twitter and facebook and instagram. some of it was pretty brutal. p.s. here's my costume in case anyone was interested

Did you add all the jewels to your outfit by hand?! Shame people were being rude at the Chicago show. :(
