lego 44,165
Katy Perry Throws Shade at VMAs After 'Roar' Snub Katy Perry nabbed two MTV VMA nominations this year, but surprisingly, the awards show showed no love for her massive hit "Roar." Shortly after the VMA nominees were revealed, the "Prism" singer took to Twitter to gently shade the awards show for snubbing the hit that helped her to become the RIAA's All-Time Top Digital Artist. While "Roar" was quietly ignored, Perry's "Dark Horse" earned two noms for Best Female Video and Best Collaboration.Gaga, on the other hand, was snubbed entirely by the 2014 VMAs, with nothing from "ARTPOP" getting a nod. In typically iconoclastic fashion, she didn't comment on the snub directly but took to Instagram to flaunt her nipple. Well, we all cope in different ways. Beyonce leads the pack this year with eight nominations, while Eminem and Iggy Azalea follow with seven noms apiece. http://m.billboard.com/entry/view/id/94091?utm_source=twitter FreePalestine

migamiga 12,101
Who writes these and how do they get published in Billboard? I've read a lot of biased posts like these from them and I wonder if it's a hack cause it's so unprofessional http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/6165387/katy-perry-vmas-roar-snub
Pity Party 743
If she was good with just the views she wouldn't have tweeted that embarrassing tweet.
IHE 559
Don't worry Katy. If there was a "Best Video for Children Under the Age of 9" category, you woulda slayed The Roar video was terrible. She really is that delusional. I think she is just pressed she hasn't had a Bad Romance level night at the VMA's yet. Maybe next era. Who writes these and how do they get published in Billboard? I've read a lot of biased posts like these from them and I wonder if it's a hack cause it's so unprofessional http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/6165387/katy-perry-vmas-roar-snub That was terrible writing and totally hilarious. Mills 446
Eh, it's a harmless yet cocky tweet, one you'd normally see from a celebrity. Guess they were expecting it to be the nominated one, because frankly it does deserve more recognition than DH by virtue of its relatively bigger success and overall popularity.
