I knew it! The other song just sounds so bad, the vocals don't suit the instrumental and I searched that band in youtube and it doesn't sound like the rest of their stuff

Your source doesn't prove the fact that "Madeon made this for Gaga and the band used it after finding it". But at least it proves it wasn't made for someone else at first ;)

It doesn't even matter anyway, i have no idea why this whole subject has been so meltdown-worthy.

All producers and musicians have ideas sitting around in various forms of completion.

If Gaga hear's one of them and it inspires her to write a song over it, then that is perfectly valid.  It's also very common.  Many times in band situations the band may write some music and then the singer will see how the music inspires them and write an appropriate melody and lyric.  This is completely and 100% valid.  For pop stars, the producer is the "band."

It doesn't make either piece any less "original" than the other.

EDIT: Oh wait does it mean that Gaga had her part int the process of creating the instrumental before the band took it?

Yes :)

Well, that's a relief

To those of you who are saying "Yaaaas, finally that'll shut up the haters", just because some of us were disappointed doesn't mean we're haters. I didn't see many people go "F*ck Gaga, I'm done with her, I'm turning in my stan card". Like I said in the other thread yesterday, Gaga prides herself on being creative and following her artistic vision, so the whole thing wasn't exactly in alignment with what Gaga stands for.

Oh well. At least we got yet another very entertaining meltdown out of it, and who doesn't love those, right? :ohwell:
