garnite 8
how awful and unsurprising. gaga doesn't have to do stuff like this. she's taking shortcuts instead of making something new. not as hard-working on her music as she'd have us believe.
VISION 52
Yeah, Gaga's used quite a few samples. But so have many artists... Actually, saying that everyone in the industry has sampled at some point isn't much of a stretch. Check this site, it's really fascinating: http://www.whosampled.com And she always uses the right samples. Alejandro's violin is epic>>>>> It's like a rebirth. Madonna's Hung Up and Sorry are marvelous too Thanks for the link!

Logan 20,648
No wonder in MJH it sounds like she has to stretch the words to fit the beat Edited June 26, 2014 by Logan
Leo 3,000
Aura Mary Jane Holland Donatella I mean I still love these songs just as much, and still love the album as much, but it's disappointing to see this.

Girl Under You 332
The first verse slays I'm so sad 100% of ARTPOP, my favourite album is recycled  Aura, Donatella, and now Mary Jane Holland... I'm really disappointed tbh, it's exactly the same, it even has the man speaking in the intro

MonsterRocket 53
Why does Gaga do this?? Recycling songs never turns out to be a good idea :toofunny: Taking a song's instrumental and adding another melody just being based on the instrumental...that always has a superficial result. garnite 8
this is more than related use your brains. she didn't IMITATE anyone. there is no imitation involved here. look up the definition of the word.

Neptune 156
don't blame them, she chose to buy the pre made instrumentals >.> Still, why would they agree to do that? It's so bad, this takes a lot of ARTPOP's value as a whole body of work. They should be working on something completely new and made from scratch, not recycled songs that were already produced and she just sings over them and that it. That makes it so cheap and boring. It's like you find something you like, you glue something on it and expect everybody to love you and think you're creative. I hate this, truly. A good song is written on a piano, didn't she say that, back in the day?
