I guarantee you did not actually take the time to listen to Charlie Puth The Weeknd or Alex Warren's albums. They absolutely make good music it just wasn't showed down your face

May I present to you a wonderful british duo Hurts? They make gorgeous music, support the LGBT and even got a Kylie collab

They also have really fantastic videos

 

 

 

And overall gorgeous kinda dark yet uplifting music

 

The singer even got into drag for this gorgeous song, 

 

 

But arguably I adore Ternty one pilots, even though Tyler doesn't sound the best live haha Troye also makes really gr8 music and early Coldplay is also a vibe. Omar as well.. there's some good men, but not many serve cvnt like the ladies.

The Weeknd absolutely.

I LOVE the Weeknd and went to his concert. That is NOT a Michael Jackson level entertainer. Same can be said of Alex and Charlie. Not MJ level entertainers.

Charlie is an inspiration for me as an independent musician, his music IS really fun and funky but too referencial to be revolutionary.

Ate with bringing them up, bops all around but they don't have the scope and generational appeal of the pop titans I'm referring to.
