  1. 1. Would you be OK with Gaga doing smaller-scale shows at smaller venues for the next tour?

I'd be here for a theater tour with Tony to promote C2C.     Fits the style of music.

Would love this! Add in a few holiday songs and it would be perfect around the holiday season.

no. not even half of the fans would be able to see her... u do realize the tix would sell out in like 5 seconds right?

The Roseland shows actually didn't sellout too fast, some tickets were still available and fans were traveling from all over the world (my whole Facebook feed was Gaga fans in New York) and it was the hottest gig in the city. it's not like the US tour right now is doing too amazing, it's selling out like the day of the show not months before.

they were a bunch of shows in one single city in the same venue tho. imagine if gaga did 1 to 2 concerts in each city. do u really think all fans would get a chance to see her?

I think maybe a few shows a la Swine Fest before the tour would be cool, but no, for tours she needs to stick with arenas.

At the rate the artRave is selling...yeah

like Lana Del Rey has a bigger fan base than Gaga rn IMO. Nobody I know is going to Gaga, I knew like 50 people going to Lana. That show was way hotter. The next day (Gaga was the next night in Seattle, before it was cancelled) everyone in the city was talking about how amazing Lana was, not that Gaga was that night. She could play Lana sized shows, up the ticket prices, and then the demand would be higher next time around. She should just stop using 80% backing track and get the press on her side, then she could play stadiums again.

1 thats not true at all. i love lana and I'm a fan of hers, but she's having her peak right now because of the whole "hipster" craze thats going on. Pop music isn't at its best, the music industry is going through a phase, and just like pop stopped being huge in 2011-2012, indie will eventually stop being huge too. Even at lana's peak, she isn't selling as much as gaga sold at her low (ARTPOP).

hope u get what I'm saying i feel like it sounds a little confusing D:

No because less people will be able to see Gaga, unless she's playing 5 shows in one city!

because the ticket price will be high, and difficult to get

it's simple as that

I mean sure we all want an intimate experience, but that's just not possible

Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

So, right now, more people are interested in seeing Lana than Gaga. gaga may sell more tickets only because she's more well known, but the tickets are sold at a slower rate and it's less of a hot ticket. If Gaga soldout small venues really fast, played the same city like 5 times, there would be such a huge buzz she could sellout an arena the next time she toured there. And I won't agree with you, because frankly Lana's last single charted higher than G.U.Y and I do think in this moment in time she's bigger than Gaga. I'm not saying she's ever touched Gaga's peak, but today she's bigger as Gaga is doing nothing.

The first ones did. That's why they kept adding more shows.

Amazing is selling out, or being 90 percent full or higher. BB doesn't report when the tickets were sold and tickets sold the last day aren't cheaper. The point is, the tour is doing extremely well.

You are wrong about "the rate artRave is selling". The majority of shows, that aren't sold out, only have 5 to 10% of the tickets left as the show gets closer. That means they have sold anywhere from 8 to 14 thousand tickets before the last days. That would be 4 to 8 shows worth of automatic sell outs in these smaller theatres.

And to say Lana is doing better than Gaga is the definition of delusional. She is doing a small amount of small venues and the tickets are very inexpensive. There is no comparison.

BTW, I don't know a single person who is going or would go to a Lana show. I mean, they might, if someone gave them a ticket and a bunch of their friends are going. I haven't seen a single person mention her or her new album on any of my feeds and no one I have been around, has said a word about her in daily conversation.

Okay, but still some of the shows did not completely sellout instantly.

If you're going to call me delusional, maybe check yourself. The tour isn't doing "extremely well" its doing good. Its not doing exceptionally well, she's selling around what Beyoncé, Rihanna, P!nk, and Justin Timberlake are. But she's not selling anything near as much as say, what One Direction are selling. She's just putting on an average, run-of-the-mill arena tour. There's tickets available for almost every show, but if you tried to get a ticket to see P!nk or Beyoncé's Mrs. Carter Show this late in the game...good luck. I mean, One Direction are playing 3 shows at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles. That's going to be like 150,000 people. What's Gaga playing in LA? She isn't even doing more than one show at MSG. The tour isn't actually doing that great...its just doing pretty good.

Also, read this article:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/jesselawrence/2014/05/09/lana-del-rey-tickets-on-secondary-market-have-prices-among-pop-musics-elite/

"the average price for Lana Del Rey tickets on the secondary market are $269.68 for her current tour, making Lana Del Rey the second most expensive female performer in music at the moment  trailing only Beyoncé, who is arguably the biggest female star in music today."

"In fact, it might be surprising to learn that Lana Del Rey tickets are now priced higher than those of more established female pop powerhouses including Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Miley Cyrus."

And maybe you don't know anyone, but I sure as hell did. I see people at my school still wearing Lana shirts all the time. My whole Instagram feed was that concert. I ran into so many people that I knew there. I literally know nobody going to Gaga...

No. She sould be doing like 2-4 concerts in each city to cover all the fans. Those kinb of concerts ( Swine fest..) are great for promo and that but no as tour shows.

Get out of this site. You are so desilusional. artRAVE is the biggest female  tour and the 4 tour overhall after 1D and 2 others. Lana del rey is nothing compared to gaga

Your limited world =/= what everyone else in the world is doing and thinking. As you grow up, you will learn that simple reality.

If the benchmark is 1D, then NO ONE else is having a tour that is doing extremely well.

Since it is crazy to use 1D as the benchmark for "doing well", Gaga....like Beyonce, Rihanna, Bruno and many others are having tours that are doing extremely well.
