Born This Way was surprising. Staying up till 4 in the morning to hear the premiere, the hype was insane and we had no idea what to expect.

So when that intro finally came on

The breakdown/bridge in Judas was an amazing surprise!

I also wasn't expecting to love Fashion of His Love but I do. It's so sweet and cute  :nick:

I hadn't been stanning, just a fan from the GP. I was still in the closet and I was so afraid to buy the album so i had my mom's friend buy the album for me :flop:

Hair made me super emotional, (still does )

But the whole album was a journey. It was probably my favorite album of all time when it came out.

(Its still in my top 10 :legend:)

I was a FOHL and HML lover too. I used to basically orgasm to the "I could be your girl girl girl, girl girl girl, but would you love me if I ruled the world world world" parts in the song. And the "Baby we were born this way" reference. Its such a genius song. You would never guess that the woman who wrote "Just Dance" would come out with such a gem.

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

JUDAS!

I remember having the radio on and saying "wait, this sounds like Gaga?"  Then the thing which tells you the name of the song on the car dashboard said "Judas" I JUMPED all over my seat.  I was confused af because it was a couple days before I thought she said it would be released, til I realized later it was leaked.. so that's why. :flutter:

I think this all the time, because tbh without a doubt BTW is my favorite album of all time, and when I hear it i'm like how could The Fame become this??? it's such a drastic change and every song was crafted perfectly imo.

Probably "Bloody Mary" because I wasn't expecting it at all. I had a hunch that "Marry the Night", "Judas", etc., would be epic, but that one kind of blindsided me.
