It might be too s-xual for the GP, but it still deserves much bigger success than the one it's having atm. But Gypsy will not perform any better than G.U.Y. Because the song is not the problem, even the amount of promo is not the main problem (see MTN). Â Her team has to be clever now and target the right audience. A different audience. Imo she can have a smash EDM hit with Aura. It could become a big club banger at first and then grow on radio and become a radio hit as well... (Avicii and Martin Garrix didn't even expect their club tracks to become so big on radio, but people liked them and they became big everywhere) Â Just a few months ago the EDM fans were crowned the most socially active music community on the Internet. Yep, they're stronger social media force than all the pop stanbases put together. Â Now just imagine what AURA, the song that was highly praised by Zedd as the most innovative and unique EDM song ever could do. What I suggest? There are tons of weekly podcasts and radio shows by various big name DJs that are listened to by millions of people. Their live sets are attended by thousands. Making them play the song would be a smart brilliant move. Most of them post their remixes on SoundCloud all the time. Paying them to remix the song as many times as possible. Creating the buzz. Going to and performing at Tomorrowland (the biggest electro festival in the world), Ultra Europe, etc. Also promoting the artRave as the rebirth of the rave scene, young people are hungry for that ****. Â Aura is the perfect mix of weirdness that people associate with Gaga and pure feminine s-xiness as something new coming from her. Even if she has a concept behind it, even if the song isn't about empowering muslim women, there was already drama about it upon its leak let alone if it were released as an official single.
