MJHolland 12,723
Idc really about the pool or toddlers (I hate children in real life so ) but the freaking loading screen? Really??? You done goofed, EA. Ya done goofed.... :toofloppy:
Tokyo Rose 1,475
As we are used to in TS3, you can only play in one neighborhood/town in one game (f.e. Sunset Valley or Starlight Shores). In TS4, there will be one big world with multiple neighborhoods in them. The transition between these neighborhoods will have a short loading screen, not when going from lot to lot. A "neighborhood" in TS4 is 2-5 lots. One of my favorite things to do in TS3 is to roam around the whole town, collecting seeds and gemstones, fishing, meeting sims, etc. This will no longer be possible. Also the World Adventures type gameplay won't be possible with this setup. In the World Adventures expansion we could explore entire adventure themed worlds like Egypt and China and go on quests, without any loading screens. hughdancy 282
As long as it runs better than TS3 I'll buy it. I went to play TS3 the other day and it's a complete POS. It doesn't even have native V-sync
AnaLucia95 2
But that means no more endless potty training which is great. My first thought

Nemo 4,197
But that means no more endless potty training which is great. If only this could be applied to real life, and my nephew.
Ray of Light 8,134
This will be better for older and lower tech computers which also means more players which = more money for EA. I don't mind. I never played TS3; so I won't notice much of a difference

LetsGetHigh 52,683
To go from one lot to the next in The Sims 3, there is no loading screen. The Sims 4 is like Sims 2, loading screens for going from lot to lotWhat the **** What is this ****ing mess? Not even going to torrent download it. WHAT A MESS EA HAS BECOME. heavymlover 340
Those two things in particular are NECESARY for a Sims game lol I don't mind load screens though. If I recall, it was said that the neighborhood would be divided into 5 sections or something like that, and that you had a load screen just to change between different sections. Not necessarily as in TS2. To be fair, the load screens won't be as eternal as in TS3. They'll add the pools with some sort of expansion, don't doubt about it. They must be pretty confident about the new additions to the base game if they think people won't be unhappy with the lack of swimming pools. Putin 0
Literally the only new exciting is the personal traits (unfortunately just 3) with emotios. There was a huge step ahead between TS2 and TS3. This is literally a step back to TS2 just with better graphic. Im deeply disappointed. The only thing that would make me wanna play Sims again is actually online world. But that will never happen. Bye bye The Sims series, welcome The Elder Scrolls Online. Putin 0
"Neighborhoods and Worlds will be separated by a short load screen, but for the first time you’ll be able to live in one world and work (or play) in another!" As we are used to in TS3, you can only play in one neighborhood/town in one game (f.e. Sunset Valley or Starlight Shores). In TS4, there will be one big world with multiple neighborhoods in them. The transition between these neighborhoods will have a short loading screen, not when going from lot to lot. But a lot of them are huge. In TS4 there will be connected world but with 5 house neighbourhoods (with 5 lots in each) + community lots. That makes 25 houses to live in a world, I think towns in TS3 were bigger. TS3 with open world and expansion packs was too much for some players´ computers. We cant forget the aimed audience.
