GagaMyBlood95 9,915
I've read just a couple of things and that was enough for me to realize that this guy/girl or whoever wrote this has NO IDEA what he's talking about... LOL Bunch of stupid things to make look like Gaga is "over"... When you do your third WW tour, give me a call...
Emvee 8,282
this post is absolutely flawless. Willy, I need a whiskey after writing those novels.
My Little Phoney 658
You are the most biased people... You constantly hate on ARTPOP (because of its 'poor sales') and everything Gaga does, but when someone, yes, not the most adept person but still, writes most of your thoughts down in an article, they are 'a pressed twink' and they 'shouldn't be a reporter'. Please learn to have your on opinions about things, listen to the music and ****ing say what you think, not what you think you're SUPPOSED to think because it's a general trend. If there's anything bringing Gaga's career down, it's her fans' negativity which is mirrored by the media. /end rant.
Mariano 958
They almost said that Gaga's dancing in GUY is inspired by Miley and Katy ? or they meant it is just as bad ? Either way
Adakam 2
omfgggggg THANK YOU People are still saying Madonna is over and they said the same about MJ until the day AFTER they closed the coffin if she was over we wouldnt have people like perez cheng milking her bad moment, because it wouldnt matter, media knows she still sells has an artist ever been actually over? the worst cases are just, not going back to the peak popularity, but even artists like Britney Spears, that had no true musical or creative background, lip synching, and a major breakdown, is still strong, shell never go back to the place she was in her first years, but she is still strong
GoddessOfSlay 0
Why is the author putting so much effort into this article when shes "over" :toofunny:
My Little Phoney 658
Why is the author putting so much effort into this article when shes "over" Exactly. At least she's still giving people something to talk about. I don't see any articles about Ashanti, JoJo, The ***cat Dolls, Madonna or any other pop stars who's careers are actually over! blahblahblahhhh 15
One thing led to all of this - ARTPOP. The very title ARTPOP. That's all.
teo 609
This guy needs to take his pills and go to bed. Like what is that? pawsdownlittlemonsters? He can stay pressed talking about what a flop Gaga is with her #1 album and her sold out world tour. If he's not a "fan" anymore or he's bored or whatever the door is to the left and it's wide open. Eighteen 5,428
i don't know why people are determining LG's worth by measuring her pop culture reception this era. she's gone underground for now (kind of), which is good, and we know she'll come out eventually and that's good too. the only thing i'll say about this era is that she needs to stop pointing in the audience during live performances 'cause that ****'s annoying ;)
BricksNStrings 231
Written by some pressed twink. Nobody but nobody in the real world notices anything about her dancing. Ever. Oh, and tell me more about how Greece is in Egypt.... You are the most biased people... BricksNStrings 231
Radio played Applause and they definitely gave DWUW a chance. G.U.Y. is still gaining, but I suspect that it will be largely ignored because of the s-xual content (probably the reason why DWUW stalled at 60m AI). G.U.Y. opening week numbers were conventional. Just because Bad Romance went viral, doesn't mean all of her videos will. It's absurd to look at Bad Romance and Telephone as if her career has always been in that larger-than-life-spectacle state and then hold her to that standard forever. Context. She lost most of that audience with the Alejandro video and then more so with Born This Way -- both videos that had stunning visuals, in my opinion; but, her objective was something else. She IS the complete package. Visuals are 100% Haus of Gaga or affiliates. Music is 100% her. Personality is 100% her. We'd have a real discussion on our hands if any of that were actually fraudulent, but It is all genuinely her. BUT I GET IT! It needs to actually be good in order to succeed and I have no qualms with that fact. Let me clarify, though: good to the mainstream of music and visuals that is currently circulating. 'Cause in order to be accepted by the GP (radio/clubs), your music needs to be part of a greater movement that is already established or in the midst of a rise. Gaga's dance music did so well in the beginning because she hopped on the horse early enough to be that "fresh new girl." The music was dance with hints of urban music or bubblegum pop. Perfect mix for U.S. and international success. ARTPOP is neither the current state of mainstream or conventional dance music. The lyrics are obscure. The production is coarse. Her vocals howl. But that doesn't mean it's bad. Call it bad and you undermine the opinions of millions who actually enjoy and appreciate it. I love this post.
