Lady Gaga Earns 6th Billboard Digital Songs Number One With 'Shallow'

Lady Gaga earns her sixth number one on Billboard's Digital Song Sales, as her latest single "Shallow" with Bradley Cooper bows atop the list. The theme song for her latest movie A Star Is Born was released in late September with an accompanying video and hasn't left the top spot of the U.S. iTunes since.

Gaga previously topped the Digital Song Sales chart with "Just Dance" feat. Colby O'Donis (2008), "Poker Face" (2009), "Bad Romance" (2009), "Born This Way" (2011), and "Million Reasons" (2016).

On Billboard's main singles chart, the Hot 100, "Shallow" makes a strong debut at No. 28 with 8.3 million U.S. streams and 58,000 downloads.

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, the A Star Is Born soundtrack is projected to debut at number one with 180-200k copies, exceeding its initial projections and making Lady Gaga the first female artist to send five albums to the top of the chart this decade. But that's a story for next week.
