since Just Dance turned 6, and al ot of us got to know Gaga through this particular song, share one moment in your life that featured the song that started it all

 

 

here's mine:

 

Summer 2008, i discovered the song on MTV, and couldn't stop replaying it, my cousins and some friends thought it was a good idea to climb in the back of this truck, and stand up while it was riding, we had beer, i played the song, and we were all jumping, while the truck was driving.. it was near a farm, so there was no cops or anybody, i was 14 tho  , not an amazing story, but one of my best memories to be honest, just because i was so happy, and careless.. now i'm an adult and it sucks

I think it was fall 2008 I was downloading random music videos from a rapidshare forum ( ). I loved the song and I remember myself thinking "Oh she's probably a one hit wonder" .

Early 2009, I was watching the German version of Idol and then my favorite dressed like Gaga and sang Just Dance. I listened to it night and day until I finally heard Poke Ha Face and Paparazzi and became a fan :flutter:

But then it grew on me, I bought The Fame and here we are

I knew Born This Way existed before Just Dance, NEVER heard of Just Dance till 2011 or Gaga. Well, I never heard of Gaga at all until Born This Way was released.

I was in Holland during summer 2008 and I saw the video playing on TMF. I also heard it on the radio while I was there. I had heard the name Lady Gaga being mentioned on the internet a couple of times before but for some reason I imagined her to be black and be an artist like Keri Hilson or something

 

And then when I got back home I started listening to it more and more and became so interested and fascinated by her. For months I would talk about her in school and nobody had any clue who she was and would be like "I wish you'd stop talking about this b---h nobody knows about". Due to the fact that Gaga didn't pop up in the UK until January 2009, a few months later than most places I was pretty much the only person that I knew that had heard of her.

 

I remember in school we got to create pillow cases and print any image we wanted onto them. And I chose the "LADY GAGA" logo with the headless mannequin from The Fame era. This was like, September 2008 or something and people who saw it were saying to me "Who the hell is Lady Gaga?" and I would say "She's this amazing new singer, she's so cool, she's like David Bowie meets Britney Spears! She's gonna be huge." and they would roll their eyes and say "I doubt it with a name like that."
