Regular attendee of Australian football here (my team sucks but alas) Australian football is played on a much bigger field and is much more athletic in terms of running and jumping. Most players have zero protective gear besides a mouth guard. Game is much more free flowing too. The stadium where they are playing seats 100,000 people.
