I'm usually pretty cynical but the way the rumor machine pushed alot of collaboration rumors the past few months from Beyonce, to the Weeknd, to Rose, to Madonna, to Doechii, to Raye......and some of those artists even playing along with it...

 

My gut says we ARE getting something by December 31, 2026. Like there WILL be another canon Gaga album on my shelf sitting to the right of MAYHEM. Ya feel? 

I don't know if its a remix of Mayhem, new songs, something alongside TDWP2 like Harlequin was for Joker 2, or literally a brand new LG8 that happens to be loaded with collabs, but something feels like it is coming. I also think it fits in with Gaga's sense of humor to completely invert the narrative about her being collab-reliant and lean into it and make it a positive. What if she became the Collab queen and everyone wanted to work with her because it's always succesful. Almost every collab she has done and released as a single has been a hit. Just Dance, Telephone, Shallow, Rain on Me, Die With A Smile.....say what you want but she has never released a collab as an official single and it flopped. Most go number one. It would be funny if she said, "oh you think I do too many collabs, huh? Well here is an entire fugging album of collaborations for you to hate (stream) babes!"

She may be cooking but that doesnt mean the dish is ready...

There's ZERO rush...she is JUST wrapping up Mayhem era...already said she wants to take some time off to start a family and explore other creative endeavors. 

Music may be one...but we probably wont hear it for a while. 

If she truly wanted to appease fans during the hiatus...release demos...unreleased songs...ACT II? lol

I'm hoping at least for a Dawn of Chromatica type thing but Requiem for Mayhem and instead of featured artists it's just a brand new version of each song

I think the closest we'll get to new material is 1 song which is for TDWP2. Or maybe this is just me lowering my expectations cause I want to be surprised lmao

I don't want any new music from her this year, I'm tired of new Lady Gaga music, my ears have had enough of Lady Gaga music. Please Lady Gaga, DO NOT release new music in the year of 2026.

I was at the Requiem show and this is the best way I’ve seen it described.  It will feel like DOC where every song is completely reinvented, only all of them solo tracks with Gaga doing a lot of the mixing herself.

That sounds so incredible  I have no clue about the show beyond there was a rock vibe to some/all of the songs and they were different and I'm so excited

Tbh 100%, I don’t think she made completely new beats and arrangements (so basically remixes) for Mayhem Requiem to not release it officially as a Live album.

They were all different.

Perfect Celebrity was acoustic.

Zombieboy was drowned out synths (way less upbeat, felt more dead/spooky).

Garden of Eden was rock.

LoveDrug was electro-acoustic.

Blade of Grass felt gothic.

Die with a Smile was a remix.

(these are the ones I can remember of the top of my head.  Went to the Mayhem Ball a month later and they kinda blurred together).

It was an Apple Music live show, so it will be released exclusively on Apple Music.
