It's amazing that fans are usually the ones quick to dig it up and use it as some sort of stick to beat her with. Ohh goodness, maybe it's just my interpretation of it, but I think they're gonna beat her with it out of context "Music not the bling" is more about the art and music. Of course she's a lot about the money, what with the fashion and general amenities, but when we go back to her whole "I hate money"/"Shoot that money, you don't need it!" is all about how it's not just about the money. Through her hard work and business decisions, she's made enough for herself that she can live nicely and comfortably- just that it's not all about that. (and lets not even talk about how this ap is not that big of a deal. the fact that we all live in ****tier flats doesnt mean shes being a primadonna or sth. other celebs own tons of mansions all over the world and she keeps living in ~not that big~ flat, think about it) when she sings ''music not the bling'' im pretty sure shes talking about all the commercialism in the music industry. cuz if all she wanted was money, she could do videos like katy and be on top but that means forgetting her individuality. so she prefers making art, and doing what she believes in, rather than winning. the fact that she spends what shes got is absolutely normal. also, she does need money for fashion and for her music videos and tours. remember with the monster ball she was almost broke, yet she spent everything to make the tour of our lives...
