The Fame Monster isn't an EP, ffs. It's longer than 30min. Also Gaga said multiple times it was her second album

All her unreleased at the time don't work with TFM tbh. Only one is probably No Way or Out Of Control, even then, they don't feel as strong.

So Thriller by MJ is also an EP? :awkney:

Technically. Length of songs or the length of the entire release does not determine if it's an album or an EP.   :dead:

"An extended play (EP) is a musical recording that contains more music than a single, but is usually too short to qualify as a full studio album or LP."

Look it up.  :Chica: Or would you like someone else to do that for you?

No, it's not, and it's the same with TFM :awkney:

I've a personal bias in favour of LPs, err rather an obsession over it for some reason. So yeah, while TFM was GREAT from start to finish, I'd have loved it even more if it was an LP.

It's perfect as it is. I prefer shorter albums.

But if she were forced to add more songs, I wouldn't be against finished versions of OOC and Animal (even though it's basically a scrapped version of Monster).

It is her best album as it is now, but i wonder if there are also some more amazing songs that did not make it...

You can not hide if nobody pays attention to you :*

I think it's perfect just the way it is. Comparatively speaking, I do not think it's her finest work (I prefer her more adventurous latter two albums), but it is consistently strong and catchy with the occasional stroke of genius (Bad Romance, Speechless).

If it means getting as equally great quality songs then yes!

The length of it as it stands though is just fine by me

ugh, this bothers me. IT IS A FULL LENGTH LP!

An EP is four tracks or something 25 mins or less.

You see TFM is rounded 35 mins.

There

and if u want it longer, i think gaga could've made ARTPOP into an 8 track album, because what she did with the fame monster was release the best songs she recorded, they were all amazing, and there were not "Okay" songs they were actually all great, which to me is why its my favorite album.

she picked the 8 songs people would love most, if she did a 14 trck, there would be a lot of "Okay" songs.

Yeah, I've never got this. Billboard says an EP is 4-6 songs. The UK charts say an EP can have up to 25 minutes. TFM is 8 tracks and 35 minutes. It fits all the criteria for an album, but it's still classified as an EP. For some reason.

Anyway, I count it as an album

Wow... okay. Whatever you say, God.

You people have no idea how the music industry defines and EP, LP and singles...
