Do you think Lady Gaga is still bringing fans backstage like she said?

Im referring to 3 months ago when she said that she is choosing 20 fans at random to come backstage after the show for free!

I'm unsure if she will no longer do this because she will be doing a meet & greet for the fans who paid for ARTPOP Zone & she meets them in a special lounge. What if there are 20 people in the ARTPOP Zone, i feel like her team may decide that bringing an additional 20 fans backstage would be too much. Thats 40 fans all wanting pictures, to talk to her, to get her to sign things etc.

 

Honestly I'll be extremely sad i she doesn't keep to her word. I understand the people who bought ARTPOP Zone spent a large amount of money to guarantee to meet her and that is totally fine. BUT she did say 20 fans will be chosen at random to come backstage for FREE. Some fans can't afford $1500 to meet her, getting picked from GA is their only hope. & the fans in GA work really hard to be noticed to have chance to get backstage.

 

I really hope she still brings the 20 fans backstage at random. I just would find it sad and disappointing if spending $1500 is the only way to get backstage now. Choosing fans from GA was a very selfless & kind thing she did to make her fans happy, now I hope it won't completely be used to make more money. She said she would bring 20 of us backstage for free.

I'm sure she'll still pick fans out from the crowd, the ones that stand out to her She's done it for the last 3 tours, so I'm sure she'll continue the trend with this one. Like I have no reason to believe that she wouldn't  Right now all we have to go on is her word

If , we're going by ARTPOP stage layouts, theres a chance, as there seems to be about 30 seats. However from my understanding, some countries have more than 20 ARTPOP zone tickets. 

 

I could never camp out and do all the extremes some have the opportunity to do, I have a job and children, so I have ARTPOP zone tickets. I couldnt do that at BTW. I remember watching thinking "that will never even be a possibility for me"

 

I wouldn't be surprised if she pulled people out, but wouldnt be surprised if she didnt either. 40 people per night after each show would be proper tiring. Thats not even counting those planning to follow her to hotels and airports. 

 

However as Haroon says, if she done it in the last three its a possibility - wasnt there (cheaper!) meet and greets for the Monster Ball? Not sure, I only heard that from someone else

It was a really nice thing to do, bringing everyone she did backstage in the BTWB, really nice, but at the same time I don't blame her if she doesn't this time around .

Many shows offer meet and greets for a nice sum of $$$$ like Gaga is doing with the ARTPOP Zone. I was picked at a concert (not a Gaga concert) to go to the tour bus and have a meet and greet and the security guys basically told me and my cousin to wait in a certain spot (lucky for us it was the VIP lounge with the rest of the band!) and they will come get us and the others who were "chosen for free" once they get through the "paid" group. They said that since those people paid a lot of money to have the meet and greet, they are guaranteed and go first and then its up to the artist how long they will spend hanging with free group. We waited almost an hour and half but who cares, right? It could be something like that for Gaga if she chooses to bring back randomly selected fans for free. Personally, I don't know how all those sitting in the APZ can afford those tickets! Don't get me wrong, I spend my share of $$$ on good seats, but wow, that is just a lot.

I'm sure she'll stick pick, but picking 20 would be a bit much. I realize she did that for SOME of the BTWB shows, but for many she would only pick a few people, or even none at all. And at some she would just invite kids on stage, but they wouldn't always necessarily get backstage as well. So for this tour I can see her maybe picking a few people who stand out to come backstage/on stage/both, but it can't be too many with the ARTPOP Zone people.

Like I really wish people would just forget about getting backstage. yes its nice, and given the opportunity myself I would not say no.

It hard on Gaga listening to this amount of folk per night and then having to take additional people back, but you never know! :)

It is one of the least thing I tend to worry about going to her concerts. but then you tend to hear and see everywhere is folk asking if she will, and then if she doesn't at your concert some people get upset etc. I'm going to the a couple of ArtRaves this year and if it happens well it does, if not then I won't be moaning about it. please fell free to kick me in if you see me moaning after November :)

When they announced the ARTPOP zone, she said "I'll still pick 20 fans from the audience."

So, yes.
