Mills 446
Media is just a joke ;) Media also played a vital role on why Gaga became so successful to begin with, similar to all the successful stories in the entertainment industry. While they have brought some of the harshest criticisms, they also have brought some of the biggest praises and recognitions to her. Discrediting them as a joke due to their negative opinions mainly driven by facts (as reflected by sales) would also discredit all the praises they've given to Gaga all these years. codymonster 8,488
I don't even know why articles like this are made.. I mean, her album did well, her tour is selling out. It's so sad that our culture is so obsessed with negativity :smh:

Hauser 1,262
Notice how her "decay/fall" is Applause peaking at #4 of the Billboard hot 100, ARTPOP not selling 1million copies its first week, and her getting overshadowed by Miley at the VMAs...the reach for a excuse to write an article. Mills 446
Well I never liked Gaga because of what MEDIA said so I still think media is a joke ;) Fair enough. But without the media, her message wouldn't even be conveyed to her fans. I wouldn't regard a medium that has been nothing but helpful in providing publicity (either a good press or a bad press) to Gaga as merely a joke. Anyway, this article is far from being negative, compared to the blatantly biased Perez Hilton-like articles. It just chronicled the events showing Gaga at her best. Aside from some silly remarks, I find nothing to seriously condemn on this article. It's not an article enumerating all of her shortcomings.
Mills 446
The meat dress is ok, bleeding to death on stage is ok, but vomiting is not? What is the difference? This article feels like it just tries to bash Gaga because she is an easy target these days. I mean, now she suddenly is an attention seeker? That's BS, if you ask me. She has always been referred as an attention seeker though since the beginning with the theatrics. Everything she does (and did) were somehow meant to seek attention - from her advocacies all the way to her music. And these stunts made her the Gaga she's right now. Everything she does (and did) were somehow meant to seek attention - from her advocacies all the way to her music. And these stunts made her the Gaga she's right now. You are right, she has always been called an attention seeker and of course her actions are to get attention. What I wanted to point out, was how the article literally "overlooks" her past acts of "attention seeking" and focuses on the vomiting, calling it an act of desperation. I think if she'd be as famous as back in 2009/2010, they wouldn't have perceived it that way. It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead. Juanjo 1,973
I read this, earlier today. Not surprised at the number of people who still don't get her. I think that's good thing. :)
rslayer 0
Why do people think the vomiting was a publicity stunt/cry for attention? It was done at a festival in front of 1/7 of her regular concert audiences. If she wanted the attention she would've done it at an awards show or during her tour :trootea:
Mister G 10,189
Haters stay pressed. Since when has The Huffington Post been credible? Funny how she's irrelevant yet they keep talking about her. #GetDatPromo

djBuffoon 12,030
Gaga has "fallen", yet they refuse to stop talking about her. Interesting... Also... fallen? She has been crystal ****ing clear recently about what she wants out of her career going forward, and being popular is not high on the list. She is as on her game as ever, and all these media outlets care about is dollar signs and page views.
