I think Gaga can do better than this...

It's not a shade to Kylie cuz she's amazing, but Gaga is still Gaga!

I think you do have a point and it's clear that the further Gaga gets along her career journey, the more she prefers to distance herself from professional assistance :ohwell:

But do you think her previous tours were that bad? I honestly want to know your opinion, if you don't mind  :zilla:

Idk about The Fame ball and Monster Ball 1.0 (they were cool).

Monster Ball 2.0 was perfect. I just loved every single thing about it.

But BTWBall. It was cool, the story was cool and all that mother G.O.A.T. stuff was interesting. The ugly part is that wig/outfit change for every single show. I don't like that. It just doesn't leave a print like Monster Ball did. + there was no video intros which is really sad + some outfits and stage stuff was made really badly. f.e. her "meat dress" looked awfull. And that piano at the end of the tour (spiky gray one).

It was a great tour but it would have been MUCH better if she did it with more help and with people who are actually prepared for that, and who have their job as a stage producers and designers and not some people from Haus who work on everything from outfits, single covers, wigs to stage designing.

I don't find any similarities at all and I have watched that tour before. ARTPOP theme has taken a different direction.

i really really really hope that she goes with a RAVE concept.  her VEVO artRAVE didnt really give me the whole rave vibe.

Whispering

Pretty visuals, looks more like Celine Dion in Vegas than anything Gaga would do.

Kylie seems to stand or sit and the dancers and visuals do everything around her. Reminds me more of Katy's performances (with better vocals), than Gaga's. The goal here looks to be to look pretty and have pretty scenery, and that's nice...but I'm expecting a whole lot more from a Gaga tour! :)

"but you know how quick people can be with silly comparisons...."

Isn't that what this post is? haha We don't really know anything about the tour and you're quick to start comparing it to others... pretty silly    :later:

I highly doubt it. Kylie's Aprodite tour is more sophisticated and polished, ArtRave sounds like it's going for a younger vibe IMO. That said, none of us really know much of anything about this tour yet, so this is all pretty pointless.

Kylie's tour made over 50 million and went pretty much everywhere outside the Americas that the BTW ball went (South Africa, Indonesia, Estonia, etc).

only the americas matter don't u know  :derpga:

She will do the same. The only difference is that Gaga's is gonna look uglier and less proffesional 'cause she can't hire some good ass graphic designers and stage designers and artists and wants to do it all alone which is impossible.

lmao since when has Gaga not hired designers for her tours? you think she does them herself? lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

i'm sure there will be some Greco-Roman theme to the tour, but it'll be much more in line with the artRave album release party and a lot less campy than Kylie's Aphrodite tour. Kylie isn't the first (nor the last) to play with Grecian themes.
