She's been in the business for more than 15 years, she's proved how great of a performer she is. She's a pop icon. Gaga is only 6 years into her career and is already fading. Take it as you want, I love her but it's a fact. Britney CAN write a song, no need to debate on this. Also I'm pretty sure Gaga won't produce it. And u up there who said you'd rather have someone more talented to "contribute" to Gaga's name : Britney is bigger than Gaga. It's enough of a contribution so deal with it. I'm assuming you're referring to me? And my answer is: I'd rather she collaborate with people who can perform and sing at her level. I get that you love Britney and that's all great. But I do not. That means absolutely nothing to me. She can't dance anymore. She can BARELY write a song. Hence why she barely actually writes any of her own stuff. And her vocals are pitiful at best. This collab would be ARTPOP I don't get why some fans think Gaga is above every other pop star or too good to work with them. She isn't. Beyonce was big when she released Beyonce because of it's surprise and all but ever since then, the hype for her has died down. Imo, Beyonce and Britney are around the same level in terms of relevance. In terms of talent, Beyonce has Britney beat of course...so if she decided to collab with B, that's fine for me Can you explain how Beyonce, who just had one of the biggest pop culture moments of the year with her album release (now at 1.6M+ in the US in less than 3 months), is on the same level of relevance as someone who went from selling diamond albums over 10 years ago to not even being able to hit 400k in the US. And on top of that Beyonce just scored her highest charting single THIS week while Brit is one rung above the Bubbling Under chart. And Britney dances WAY better than Gaga. Agree or not, it's a fact. Yes, Gaga is a better singer and pianist, but not dancer. So bye. Y'all need to stop as if Gaga was above anyone. Do I think Gaga is above everyone? No. But as a musical force and an artist, I do not think Britney is in the same league. Britney doesn't have the biggest voice but hers is perfect for POP music. She never blabs on about being a real artist while producing top 40 pop music like some of her peers. She always said she wanted to be a showgirl like Madonna and she has all the tools required to do that. Besides, everyone's opinion on Britney is irrelevant. Gaga will work with whoever she wants to work with, and y'all will just have to deal. She ADORES Britney and this collab is probably a dream come true.
