He obviously means in terms of success. Madonna was successful both more than Gaga and Miley, which is why she has earned her title as the "Queen of Pop". Not to mention that it got to a point where both artists were driven out of the mainstream due to backlash for their artistic decisions. Also the constant pressure to perform well and having very high standards. Pop music is fickle. Madonan and Gaga were technically fads too. The idea of a "queen of pop" is paradoxial in its own way as how can someone dominate something that is always changing and moving "forward" (for lack of a better word). Madonna is known as that ugly grandma who stole an army of black kids trying to relive her youth with penis arms, Gaga is that thing with the penis who wore the meat dress and relies on gimmicks to sell records (in the GP's eyes). So, it's completely redunant to care about the queen of pop stuff. Miley will be the next fad, then another will come along, and then another... and so on. Anyway yeah, I think she's trying assert her place among all the other pop divas. At the moment her whole act still comes off quite childish to me, but she's obviously been very successful. And unfortunately, while it's true to say "there's one Gaga, one Madge, etc." those comparisons do happen, as obnoxious as they are. Needn't we get started on the headlines of Gaga being the "new Queen of Pop" and she had just become big. :roll: Either way, I think she's just having her moment right now and will have a lot of success, but I don't really see her snatching anyone's "title" or anything.
