It makes sense if ARTPOP will manifest itself as an on-going thing. Perhaps each mini album will have a subname and it's own era -- all which would fall under the ARTPOP era umbrella. It also makes sense to me because ever since this summer, ARTPOP seems to be splintering off into so many different themes. I really don't mind. It would be perfect if an artist of Gaga's magnitude did this: a three part trilogy of ARTPOP and then an EP to finish it off. It's actually a really great marketing scheme. It keeps fans on edge for new music and allows them to appreciate each selection of songs more thoroughly until the next series is released. She could potentially stretch the era out for two or more years and still keep things fresh with each new segment. I would see them as different acts of a play. Each act has its themes, styles and characters (collaborations). There are so many rumored collaborations that could not possibly fit into one LP; but this idea makes them much more plausible.
